Charlie Eastwood

Charlie is a tenor from South London who began his musical training as a chorister at St. Paul’s Cathedral under Andrew Carwood.

He graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2024, having studied with Austin Gunn. Alongside his studies, Charlie held a senior choral scholarship at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel Choir, directed by Ralph Allwood.

Charlie is experienced in both consort and solo singing. He is a choral scholar at St John the Baptist, Holland Road, and is a deputy singer at several London church choirs including the Royal Hospital Chelsea, St Matthew’s Westminster, and St Mary Brookfield. Charlie has also sung with vocal ensembles Stile Antico and the Armonico Consort. Charlie tours abroad as a consort singer; he regularly works in Italy with the vocal quartet Ad Parnassum and the renaissance ensemble Vox Medici.

In summer 2024, he joined vocal group ‘Les Chanteurs des Pyrénées’ for their tour of the south of France. As a soloist, recent highlights include J.S. Bach St. John Passion with the Northampton Bach Choir, Mendelssohn Christus with Carshalton Choral Society, and Schubert Mass in G with Yateley Choral Society.
